How Do You Choose A Tree Service?

In Tampa, it seems like everyone with a truck is in the tree business. Due to our tropical climate, there is no shortage of tree
work to be done, that's for sure......
However, it's very to important to ask for 3 things whenever you are speaking with a Tree Service. Those are:

1. Business License.
2. Proof Of Insurance.
3. Photo ID or State Driver's License.

More important than anything, you need to make sure that the Service you are dealing with is accountable for their actions.
This will keep them always thinking of safety first.

You also need to make sure that they are Insured with Liability Coverage. Let's face it, in the real world accidents happen. And
a Tree Service needs to recognize this fact and be prepared for it.

Asking for ID is a good way to verify that the person, or people, listed on the License and Insurance Policy are in fact the same
person that is giving you your estimate.

How Do We Arrive At Our Estimates?
An important thing to understand about Tree Services, as well as most other businesses, is that there isn't a standard "price
guide" for services provided.

For example, 3 Tree Services may give you 3 wildly different estimates to complete the exact same job. The reason is because
estimates are arbitrary numbers. Most Tree Services simply ask for what they think you'll pay.

Part of what makes us different is that we do have standard prices for most services provided. Not to say that our numbers
aren't also arbitrary, because they are. However, we base ours on the following factors:

1. How dangerous the job is to us, other people, and other people's property.

2. How long the job is going to take us, and how many worker's we will have to bring in to get the job done.

3. How many trips to the dump we have to make in order to dispose of the waste created by the job.

4. Gas expenses.

5. Materials, if applicable.

6. Our business expenses, such as Liability Insurance and Marketing costs.

7. Supply and Demand, meaning "how many jobs do we have beating down our door?".
